Amidst the captivating streets of Rue de la Faisanderie, a familiar scent wafted through the air, drawing the attention of passersby. Could it be? Adobo in Paris? Indeed, it is: welcome to Adobo Paris!

This fusion eatery has swiftly garnered acclaim not only within the Filipino community but also among local Parisians and fellow Europeans. The menu features an enticing selection of Filipino delicacies, ranging from succulent sisig to hearty kare-kare, and, of course, the iconic adobo, prepared in the traditional Tarlac style that has charmed the taste buds of the French, often paired with a glass of exquisite wine.

"I present it with a French flair, yet the essence remains distinctly Filipino. The flavor is genuinely ours," shares RV Flores, one of the restaurant’s co-owners alongside Dominique Tiru and Julius Ladera.

These three visionaries embarked on varied endeavors in France before realizing their culinary dream. “I worked in various capacities—babysitting, housekeeping—to accumulate savings and gain diverse experiences from different Parisian eateries before bringing our vision to life,” reveals Tiru.

As patrons relish the scrumptious offerings at Adobo de Paris, the Filipino community continues to innovate, infusing unique twists into the dining experience. The establishment now boasts a karaoke room for entertainment and relaxation, making it a favored destination for both locals and tourists seeking an unforgettable meal.

Like celebrated athlete Carlos Yulo, who aspires for success not just for himself but for his nation, Ladera articulates their mission: “Our aim is to showcase Filipino cuisine on a global stage. It's high time we share our culinary heritage. We hope our endeavors will make a meaningful impact.”
